What We Cover — For Life

Every piece of Teases jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. That means if a clasp fails, a prong weakens, or a setting shifts under normal wear, we will repair or replace it — no questions, no time limit, no expiry date.

Because we only work in solid 18K gold, there is no plating to wear off and no hollow construction to collapse. A lifetime promise is only meaningful when the material can actually back it up — ours can.

What Is Covered

  • Clasp failures and closure mechanisms
  • Prong loosening or loss of stone setting integrity
  • Structural defects in the metal work
  • Manufacturing inconsistencies in the finish or form
  • Any defect that affects wearability under normal conditions

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty covers how we made the piece — it does not cover how it is treated after it leaves us. The following are not covered:

  • Physical damage from impact, bending, or crushing
  • Lost stones due to impact or accident
  • Damage from chemicals (perfume, bleach, salt water)
  • Normal wear and surface scratching over time
  • Loss or theft
  • Modifications made by a third-party jeweler

How to Make a Claim

Getting help should be simple. Here is how:

  1. Email us at hello@teases.ca with your order number and a clear photo of the issue.
  2. We will review and respond within 2 business days.
  3. If a repair or replacement is approved, we will guide you through return shipping. Teases covers return shipping costs on all valid warranty claims.

You do not need to print forms, fill out paperwork, or dig up receipts. Your order confirmation email is all the proof we need.

Care & Complimentary Services

Solid 18K gold is durable, but a little care goes a long way. We recommend removing your jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising.

All Teases pieces can be polished back to their original finish. If your piece has dulled over time, reach out — we offer complimentary cleaning and polishing on all pieces we made.

A note from us: We are a small brand, and every piece that leaves our studio is inspected by hand. We take pride in the quality of what we make — and the lifetime warranty is not a legal formality, it is a reflection of how seriously we take that responsibility. If something is ever not right, we want to know about it and make it right.
