Each petal is hand-drawn using the Rigato technique — a Milanese goldsmithing method perfected by Mario Buccellati in the 1930s. The result is not flat gold. It is silk. Light moves across the surface the way it moves across fabric, soft and directional.

The construction is silver beneath, 24K gold hammered over. Not plated — the silver provides the weight and foundation; the gold gives the colour and life. One emerald at the centre, claw-set by hand. One VVS diamond catching the light beside it.

Worn on a white shirt in July. Worn on a wool coat in December. The brooch does not notice the season.
