The 5D hollow construction gives the pendant its sculptural volume at minimal weight, and results in a hardness four times that of standard solid gold.

One face is matte, one polished; the difference is deliberate. The collarbone chain is 18K solid gold, matched to the pendant. Solid gold does not tarnish. No special care required.
